Ten
Today before leaving us, my boss shook everyone’s hand and say Happy Birthday. That really make me weird since my birthday is well far away from the date. He then said that’s for the birth of new year and it makes our age increase by one plus in what situation you were in, your age is the age you are in that year no matter what month you will celebrate it.
So I am unofficially 24 on this new year. Just wait for June to make it official. Seriously I don’t know whats really happened to me last year. All I can say is that 2009 is the year where I put myself on life survival. Its been more than one year since I came to this city.
I still remember on 15 December 2008, its the first day for me to enter working life starting as practical students. Start from there I try to learn about life, work, and survival just to make sure that I’m ready for real life. Alhamdulillah.. I think I made it. Journey of life continues on 2009 where I try to meet people for public relations and socialize in healthy way. The year changed me in the way of thinking and made the decision. Even some people said I’m so matured on that and have a mind that beyond my age. One of my friends told me that his 23 years old brother still rely on his father in everything even seeking for job!
On the month of my birthday, I move forward one step ahead in real world as being accepted for Web Developer position in one small company which is my current workplace now on. Being a full time worker is next biggest path in everyone’s life. I have face almost all problem that workers had. Being scolded, working 24 hours straight, meetings to name a few. But that is the way it teach someone about life.
Now 2010 starts and I can say myself getting busy more and more. I have a few responsible that need me doing some magic in using my own skill. I just hope everything will go smooth. 2010 also a year that I’m targeting to learn a lot about business since owned a business and help people who in need was my dream for a long time. May my wish will become true someday, InsyAllah.
